Connecting individuals with refurbished technology in order to assist with their education.

The impact of COVID-19 has made access to technology more important than ever before. Tech Access Program (TAP) aims to provide students across the continental U.S. with the technology they need to supplement their education.

This program will allow for individuals enrolled in grades K-12 or continued education to get directly connected with refurbished technology.

While schools often provide students technology for remote learning, it is typically returned at the end of the school year leaving students without those resources during breaks. Students pursuing higher education are usually not provided with technology when classes are remote which impedes their ability to complete their education.

Multi-Student Families

Multi-student families often have to share one computer, which leads to subpar remote classroom experiences.

Accessibility Gap

The technology students have access to does not always meet the requirements for their class (e.g. a student using their smartphone to complete assignments).

When you put a laptop in the hands of a child in need, you’re not giving them a toy... you’re giving them a window to worlds beyond their own.  You’re giving them a tool for powerful, systemic change.

We need to act immediately so that no student is offline.

Technology For All

In this day and age, technology is an important aspect to learn and understand. We support free and open software because it provides this opportunity to every person, no matter their income. If you are fortunate enough to have access to technology, please consider donating to our organization.

Techdren uses recycled technology to "re-live" our core values with communities that will get a better quality of life. In the end, Techdren and Zeiders will mark a positive difference to the individuals and families we support.
